The three controls that run the whole game
Plinko looks like a toy and behaves like a control panel. Before you drop anything, find three things on screen: the bet field, the risk selector, and the row count. That is the entire configuration surface. The bet is your stake in virtual coins. The risk selector offers low, medium and high. The row count sets how many staggered lines of pegs the ball has to fall through before it lands in a slot. Change any one of these and the strip of multipliers along the bottom of the board redraws itself immediately.
That instant redraw is the most useful teaching tool in the game, and most people never look at it. Set the risk to low and watch the slot values flatten out. Push it to high and watch the outer slots inflate while the middle ones sag. Add rows and watch the whole strip stretch wider with a bigger number on each end. Spend a minute clicking through the combinations and reading the strip before you drop a single ball — you will understand casino plinko better than someone who has dropped a thousand.
